Your purchasing power is being looked after by the European Central Bank, the Bank of Finland and other central banks by the adjustments they make to key interest rates. This work of the central banks is called monetary policy. The euro.fi website is an easy-to-use and fun way to familiarise yourself with the ways the monetary economy actually works, all of which have important implications for your own financial affairs.
